Agricultural Service Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for a new Service Technician to join the existing team at our Rochford branch, based in Essex.

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be primarily responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment associated with Agricultural (but not limited to) machinery that is sold by the company’s sales departments based around the Essex area.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to repair and maintain equipment for customers associated with Agricultural or Horticultural machinery and equipment
  • Ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical faults using the latest software and successfully carry out repairs which may be chargeable, warrantable or internal type jobs.
  • Lifting of heavy machinery, applying common sense to items that require the assistance of special tools
  • Proven experience within the Agricultural or Horticultural industry
  • Able to work alone and on your own initiative
  • Self-motivated
  • Maintain a good general level of health and fitness
  • Good general appearance
  • Excellent customer service skills as this is a customer facing role
  • Full clean driver’s licence

Additional Information

  • Start Date:
    Immediate, but subject to successful candidates notice period
  • Hours:
    39 hours per week - 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch) Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39hrs Monday to Friday
  • Salary:
    £Competitive, depending on experience plus company van
  • Benefits:
