Last week, friends, colleagues, and customers came together to celebrate the retirement of Keith Sharpe. After spending his entire working life in the agricultural industry, he has decided, as his 72nd birthday approaches, to hang up his order book.
Well known and highly respected, Keith’s journey began on a local family farm before he joined Burdens, where he dedicated over 35 years of his career. Following the receivership sale, he continued his work with Ernest Doe, always bringing the same enthusiasm and expertise to his role.

Keith was an exceptional Area Sales Manager. Always keen to understand the products he sold inside and out. He actively took part in product demonstrations, ensuring he could provide the best possible advice and service to his customers. While he acknowledged that keeping up with advancing technology was a challenge, Keith took great pride in staying informed and adapting to change. He always went the extra mile to ensure his customers received the highest level of support.
To honour his retirement, over 50 local farmers, colleagues, and friends gathered at The Plough Ale House, North Kyme, raising a glass to Keith’s incredible career. It was an evening filled with shared memories, laughter, and an excellent buffet! Attendees reminisced about Keith’s dedication, hard work, and good humour.

Having worked part-time in recent years, Keith is looking forward to having more time to focus on his passions: keep-fit, tennis, and his many DIY projects!
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Keith on a well-earned retirement and express our deepest gratitude for his commitment and contribution to the industry over the years.
We all wish you a long, happy, and fulfilling retirement Keith!
