Branch and Sales Manager

Role Purpose:

As a Branch & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the overall profitability, management and efficient daily operations.  Managing roughly 17 members of staff across parts, service, sales and branch administration. You will promote and represent the business, providing the highest levels of service to existing customers and identifying and nurturing new prospects, whilst working with the Sales Manager’s to promote successful sales of Groundcare machinery to an established customer base including Golf, Local Authority, Schools and Sports Clubs.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Good, sound knowledge of Groundcare equipment is desired
  • Excellent customer service skills both face to face and over the telephone
  • Target driven with the ability to upsell to achieve and exceed targets
  • Be self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
  • Has the ability to be influencing and persuading and able to close a deal
  • Full Driving licence is required
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of the business
  • Have strong leadership skills and be able to act quickly and decisively
  • Take accountability for own decisions
  • Be analytical and methodical in your approach to problems
  • Have good IT skills
  • Act with discretion when dealing with matters of a confidential nature
  • Able to work on initiative for improvements

Additional Information

  • Start Date:
    Subject to successful candidates notice period
  • Hours:
    42.5hrs hours per week - 7:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch)                         Additional hours as required to meet the needs of the branch, including seasonal peaks e.g. Harvest.
  • Salary:
    £Competitive, depending on experience plus company vehicle
