Groundcare ASM/Assistant Branch Manager

We are expanding our sales team in North Kyme and are recruiting for a Groundcare Area Sales Manager/Assistant Branch Manager.

Role Purpose:

Reporting directly to the Branch & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the sale of Groundcare equipment in a designated area. There is an opportunity to grow market share within an existing well-maintained and active customer base. You will also be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day running of the branch, whilst ensuring you are promoting the company’s image by attracting new customer accounts and maintaining existing customers.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Good, sound knowledge of Groundcare, or similar, industry and its equipment
  • Maintain up to date product knowledge
  • Achieve Sales Performance targets set out
  • Excellent customer service skills both face to face and over the telephone
  • Build strong and loyal relationships with customers within the sales area
  • Be self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
  • Target driven with the ability to upsell to achieve and exceed targets
  • Has the ability to be influencing and persuading and able close a deal
  • Have the ability where necessary to demonstrate equipment
  • Ensuring products are delivered to customer in-line with brand and company guidelines and the customer

experience is first class

  • Full Driving license is required
  • Use of Google maps
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Administratively organised
  • Smart & presentable appearance
  • Dependable & reliable
  • A team player-capable of working alone and with other members of the branch team
  • Computer literate

Additional Information

  • Start Date:
    Immediate, but subject to replacement of existing role if successful
  • Hours:
    42.5 hours per week – 8am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch) Additional hours as required which may include weekends as per rota especially during peak periods e.g. Harvest
  • Salary:
    £Competitive, dependent upon experience plus company car
